Ideas

I love that ideas come from God. He has such great ideas. For example Camp is God's Idea. It has been around for a long time and is powerful as God came up with it and it is a great idea.

Another idea I am pondering at the moment is up on the wall in front of me at work so I remember.

"Plan to make an Impact on the generations we won't even meet".

I really like this idea. It helps me see the Big picture and reminds me that I can Be a part of the Idea of seeing lives empowered.

Thoughts

Over the last couple of weeks some friends have been writing statements that have got me thinking and I am still thinking about them.

Even more challenging than being tolerant; being tolerant of intolerance.

Finds it strange when people act as though another person's beliefs and actions could damage their own.

Very challenging but great ideas.

Showing Love

Last week I watched this amazing movie called "Furious Love" it was awesome so it got me thinking about how people show love and God's amazing love at that towards others.
Yesterday I was on the Bus and I saw two different people get up from their seats and offer it to someone that was a little older than them. it was just so beautiful to watch.

Each week I get the privilege to read the Wayside Chapel weekly letter and today again I read an awesome encounter of God's love.

One of our volunteers stepped into my office yesterday with eyes filled with tears. She said, "You don't know why I'm here at Wayside do you?" I wasn't too sure what she meant or why I would worry about why she was helping us. She said, "I'm here on a community service order. I'm only here because I've done something wrong." By now the tears were flowing freely down her face. "Same" I said, "Welcome home."

I love that- what wisdom and what love.

New Year

I love it how the New Year brings new beginnings. although every day is a new beginning we seem to just try new things often in the new year. Yesterday I was listening to the radio and people were ringing in saying what they were not going to give up rather that what they are going to give up. I thought about it and like the positive. one person said they weren't going to give up enjoying spending time with their daughter and I thought I am not going to give up spending time with my Heavenly Father.

What a year 2009 has been lots of challenges and Joys but most importantly God has been there through it all and i am so thankful for that.

Faithful

I love that God is Faithful. He is always so close to us. He is just awesome.

This last week I experienced this more and I am just so greatful.

Conference

What an amazing weekend last weekend was.

I went to a conference at Chruch Called Men & Women of Honour and we had Danny and Sheri Silk. They are Amazing. God has blessed them with a great message of His Love to share and they are doing it.

I have been encouraged and inspired and am not challenged to be more like Jesus and love as He did.
